Lubuski Metal Cluster – the Power of Cooperation and Innovation at the Heart of the Region
The Lubuski Metal Cluster is a unique initiative that brings together metal industry enterprises from the northern part of the Lubusz Voivodeship. Since 2008, as an association registered in the National Court Register, it has been dynamically supporting the development of its member companies while strengthening the competitiveness of the entire region.
It is the only cluster in the Lubuskie region verified by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and has undergone benchmarking five times, confirming its high management standards.
LMK was established by 14 companies as part of the European Cross-Border ClusterNet project. From the very beginning, it has focused on collaboration, knowledge transfer, innovation, and internationalization. It currently operates based on a development strategy for 2013–2020, with a mission to create optimal conditions for the growth of the metal industry through joint business activities and cooperation with the education sector, public institutions, and R&D.
The cluster is distinguished by its professionalism, creativity, and strong partnerships. For its achievements in promoting innovation and vocational education, LKM was awarded by the Minister of Economy in 2015.
The Lubuski Metal Cluster is a testament to the fact that cooperation pays off – for individual companies and the entire region alike.
