Technology, Partnership, Future. This Is What SUBCONTRACTING 2025 Looked Like
The last edition of the SUBCONTRACTING Industrial Subcontracting and Outsourcing Trade Fair, accompanying ITM Industry Europe – the largest industrial fair in Central and Eastern Europe – took place on June 3–6, 2025. This year’s event confirmed that the industrial subcontracting and outsourcing sector is thriving and ready for new challenges.
A Wide Range of International Exhibitors
SUBCONTRACTING 2025 attracted a diverse group of companies presenting their advanced solutions in metalworking, plastics processing, automation, welding, and industrial technologies. This year, in addition to domestic exhibitors, Poznań welcomed representatives of companies from, among others, Turkey, Lithuania, and Bulgaria. For all participants, the fair served as an excellent platform for international knowledge exchange, showcasing innovative solutions, and establishing business contacts at the European level.
Subcontracting Meetings. Matchmaking That Works
A key element of the event was the SUBCONTRACTING MEETINGS platform, enabling participants to register and schedule individual meetings between exhibitors and potential business partners. This year’s edition brought together 96 participants who held 58 B2B meetings. The platform – operating within the b2match system – once again proved its effectiveness as a tool supporting cooperative business development.
COP 2. An Industrial Opportunity for Poland
This year's edition also provided space for important discussions about the future of Polish industry. The conference “Central Industrial District 2.0 – An Industrial Opportunity for Poland” drew particular interest, bringing together experts from various fields to discuss the need to rebuild comprehensive industrial infrastructure in the country. They emphasized the importance not only of production plants but also of logistics, education, housing, and human resources. Speakers included representatives of industrial clusters, the military, and development institutions.
“The panel attracted a great deal of interest,” said Włodzimierz Fleischer, President of the Lubuskie Metal Cluster. “Representatives from various sectors took part, and a lively discussion emerged quickly. The debate covered not only strictly industrial topics but also related areas such as housing development, logistics, transport, and vocational education,” he added.
