The Wood-Mizer plant in Koło covers 11 hectares, including 25,000 m² of indoor space. The company handles both single orders and serial production, working with materials such as structural steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium and plastics.
CNC metalworking and laser cutting
Wood-Mizer offers a wide range of metalworking services. The company performs straight and angle cutting on BEHRINGER and JAESPA band saws, turning on OKUMA and MAZAK CNC lathes, and milling on HAAS and MAZAK machining centres.
The plant also uses Trumpf laser technology, enabling precise cutting of thick sheet metal. CNC press brakes with 3D detail visualisation ensure accurate bending and process repeatability.
Welding, finishing and assembly
The company’s offer includes serial welding on robotic stations as well as manual welding of large-size components. The production halls are equipped with overhead cranes and handling equipment with a lifting capacity of up to 8 tonnes.
Wood-Mizer also provides component preparation and painting, as well as the assembly of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic subassemblies. This allows customers to order both individual components and complete finished products.
Project support and logistics
The R&D department and production preparation office support projects from concept, through documentation and CNC programs, to the development of technological solutions. The company uses CAD/CAM software, combining design with production.
The Koło plant has a high-bay warehouse, automated Kardex storage systems, loading ramps and advanced logistics infrastructure. Wood-Mizer operates in more than 100 countries on five continents.
